Ravaan

Pilot terms

Ravaan is in a pilot. These terms describe how renting works during it, and are under legal review.

Before you book

You verify your identity once, with your CNIC (front and back) and driving licence. Ravaan's team reviews them. You can browse without verifying, but you can't request a car until you're verified.

Price and deposit

The price you're shown when you send a booking request is fixed for that booking; later price changes never affect it, before or after the owner approves. The security deposit is separate from the rental price. Ravaan holds it; it is never the owner's income.

Paying

Once the owner approves your request, pay the rental and the deposit by bank transfer to the account shown on your booking, with your booking reference, within 24 hours.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time before pickup. During the pilot there is no cancellation fee: everything you've paid is refunded to your refund account.

After you return the car

The owner has four hours from the recorded return to file a claim. A claim needs a category, a description, an amount, how it was calculated, and evidence; without evidence nothing can be deducted. If no claim is filed in four hours, your deposit is released. A deduction can never be more than your deposit.

Ravaan's role

Ravaan manages the booking, the deposit and the claim process. Ravaan's intent is that its liability is limited to that process, and does not extend to damages, injury or disputes beyond the deposit amount. This wording is being reviewed by a lawyer and may change.
